The 13 Steps of Writing Your Essential Life Story
Module 1:
Preparing for the Journey
In this module, you’ll learn foundational concepts that set you up for success, such as how your worldview comes into play, how to relate to your desires in an optimal way, how to overcome internal obstacles as they arise, and best practices for each module.
Module 2:
Crafting Your ELS Intention
In this module, you’ll write your ELS Intention (using a template) which is a clear and concise statement about what want to achieve throughout this entire process—an intention that acts as a directive for both your mind and the Universe forces that seek to support you.
Module 3:
Revealing Your Old Story
In this module, you’ll freewrite a brief version of your old story (using clear and simple parameters that make it easy), which reveals hidden aspects of your psychology and generates the raw content you’ll use to develop your new, Essential Life Story, in later modules.
Module 4:
Upgrading Your Parental Modeling
In this module, you’ll shed light on the unconscious influence your parents have had over you and the achievement of your dreams, and begin to consciously sort out what serves you from what doesn’t in terms of what they modeled, so you can feel freer to pursue your dreams.
Module 5:
Resolving Unfinished Business with ELS Letters
In this module, you’ll write several sets ELS Letters™, which help you to release old, buried emotions from past and present relationships; easily differentiate from negative aspects of your parents’ model; let go of past partners; and make space in your mind and story for your dreams.
Module 6:
Identifying Your Story Core
In this module, you’ll begin the process of balancing the dark and light aspects of your story by writing about some of the more positive aspects of your past that will play a more central role in the new version of your story.
Module 7:
Finding the Magic in Your Greatest Current Challenge
In this module, you’ll examine the greatest challenges in your life—past and present—so you can uncover the meaning, lessons, and opportunities inside of them and leverage their power for good, in the new version of your story.
Module 8:
Discovering Your Greatest Dreams
In this module, you’ll explore your many dreams for the future and then take it further by completing an exercise that reveals which of your many dreams are most important to you, so you can bring them to the forefront of your mind and build the story that makes them come true.
Module 9:
Assembling Your ELS
In this module, you’ll use a cut and paste template to bring all the important pieces of work you’ve done so far together into one place, creating the first real draft of your Essential Life Story, and then you’ll make simple edits to patch holes and smooth transitions.
Module 10:
Mastering Your Messages
In this module, you’ll uncover the hidden “old messages” in your story that are holding you back, about how the world works and what is possible for you and transform them into new messages that are truly beneficial and support the realization of your greatest dreams.
Module 11:
Weaving and Balancing Your ELS
In this module, you’ll weave the new messages that you created in the last module into the story itself, to shift the balance of power that your messages have over you from old to new, and you’ll also learn how to identify the “trouble spots” in your story, as well as how to resolve them.
Module 12:
Writing Your Ideal Ending
In this module, you’ll follow a template for crafting the ideal ending of your Essential Life Story, that makes a super strong case for your greatest dreams to come true—an ending that you can’t help but fully buy into—which is why it will come true.
Module 13:
The Road Ahead
In this module, you’ll learn what to expect on the road ahead as you live into the tangible unfolding of your new Essential Life Story, in real time, as well as how and when to revisit your ELS to make updates, so you can continue leveraging its magical power for the rest of your life.
